Adria Green, Director at Grahn Creative, was feeling a little lost before she started working with Rachel. She had too many fingers in too many pies and felt that she lacked direction. Offering a range of services, Adria didn’t know which parts she truly enjoyed or which were particularly profitable. Like anyone, she had initial hesitations about booking a discovery call with Rachel—mainly around the vulnerability of having someone dig deeply into her business.
The turning point for Adria was everything Rachel said about boundaries. Adria was a self-proclaimed “yes person,” agreeing to client requests even when she didn’t enjoy the work. Rachel’s messages on boundaries became the catalyst Adria needed to transform her business.
Adria sought support to elevate her business and address critical challenges. Her key requirements were:

“It’s okay to pause when someone asks you a question—you can take it away and think about it. I do this a lot more now.”
“I was essentially giving away half a project for free before I had secured a client because I thought that’s what I had to do to sign them.”
“My profit has tripled with Rachel’s help.
“I learned about software for detailed proposals and templates to simplify my onboarding.”
“I had never bothered to look into that stuff before—I was too busy doing everything that landed on my desk.”

One key shift for Adria was learning to pause and reflect before saying yes to every client request. While exciting opportunities often came her way, she previously invested significant time in pre-sales work for free. By refining her proposals, she now ensures her expertise is reflected in her pricing.“You gotta think about your process and map it out so you can refer to it to stop you from defaulting back to your old ways”, she says.
Adria was guilty as charged for doing all the things, all the time, without ever stepping back to view her business holistically. With all the plates spinning at full speed, there was no real direction. She offered a wide range of services and said yes to every piece of client work, regardless of whether it aligned with her values or truly lit her up.

The biggest difference now is Adria’s level of confidence. Having Rachel—and a team of women in similar digital spaces—behind her has been validating and empowering, building her confidence steadily over time. Rachel helped Adria identify the services she enjoyed most and find ways to focus on them without scrapping everything else.
Adria’s mindset shifted from being “the doer of everything” to offering a core service, supplemented by smaller, high-value offerings. She now has a future goal she’s incredibly excited about: taking on more national projects and seeing her incredible work out in the wild.
